It's pretty poor that on purpose-built new infrastructure, cyclists on NCN route 51 should have to take a sharp turn and use a zebra crossing.

Signs indicate that buses used to run through the centre of St Ives, but the bollards are fixed now (on NCN route 51)

The Norris Museum, St Ives - plenty of space for cycle parking, but none provided.

It's hard to see where the Cyclists Dismount sign is supposed to apply - in any case St Ives's cyclists happily whizz along here towards Crown Walk and Warners Park

There's a section of the route to Warners Park, St Ives, where cyclists have to dismount.

NO! The sign should read Cyclists Rejoin The Carriageway, not Cyclists Dismount.

There's a large car park and no sign of cycle parking at the NHS St Ives Clinic

I don't think that's meant to be a cycle stand, but there's nothing else at the NHS St Ives Clinic

No Cycling on this paved footpath to the Hemingfords

Cyclists on NCN route 51 towards the Busway should turn left here before the roundabout.

Shared-use footway to the Hemingfords

They really don't want cycling on this paved footpath to St Ives

Odd - there was no indication of a shared-use path until it suddenly ended.

Odd - we haven't got to St Ives yet, and there's a sign on the wrong side of the road for Fenstanton and Cambridge.

Paved link from NCN route 51 - there's a barrier at the end, but no reason why this should be a footpath only.

  • Icon 99095 There have been many bikes stolen recently, thieves are going as far as cutting a tree or damaging a sign post to steal bikes. The next bike parking is quite far so one located here would be very useful.
  • Icon 98967 There are currently bike parking near to the queens road station, however I think some along this road would benefit all people who reside in this area as the station ones are usually taken and at a risk to leave overnight- a lot is stolen from here. If there was secure lockers, people who live in this area and on the huge estate could lock overnight without having to carry bikes up and down stairs or parking them too far away.

  • Icon 98611 The Royal Herbert Pavilions gas cycle parking, but it is very over subscribed and more council/TFL backed cycle parking would be great
  • Icon 98606 The flats on either side of the road have absolutely no storage and are small. If I can’t find a solution My partner and I will no longer be able to cycle to work.

  • Icon 98409 We have a parking spot on 80 Queens Road which is on the main road very close to the station. At the moment it is occupied by several bins and would make a great spot for a bike rack.
  • Icon 98391 I would suggest an hangar shelter
  • Icon 98390 I live in Stroud Green Road and I need a safe please where leave my bike. Could you hell me? thank you in advance for you quick reply
