Cycle parking at Helston Community Hospital - occasionally the NHS gets it right.

There is NO proper cycle parking anywhere near the main entry to the Royal Cornwall Hospital. Why does the NHS find this so diificult?

Cycle stands at the entry to central Wadebridge and sign for NCN route 32 (the Camel Trail)

Lots of cycle parking at the supermarket at Wadebridge end of the Camel Trail - and three guys on a tandem.

Arriving from Padstow on the Camel Trail you are encouraged to park your bike here and walk in to Wadebridge - lots of bike stands and a modern toilet block to the left.

A long row of cycle stands by the road into Wadebridge from the Camel Trail (they'd rather you parked here and walked in)

Cycle parking by the road north to the Camel Trail

Cycle parking and cut-through on former railway alignment, Wadebridge

Footway largely given up for cycle parking by the parish church, Falmouth

Three sets of cycle (or motorcycle?) stands in the centre of Falmouth

Motorcycle parking, supposedly, in the centre of Falmouth (there's very little cycle parking outside the centre).

Will these ever be repaired?

New, utterly rubbish, cycle parking in Penzance

I doubt if this is intended to be cycle parking outside Helston library.

Two types of cycle parking at Penzance library

Cycle racks on both platforms at Redruth station

There's decent motorbike parking at the Telegraph Museum, Porthcurno, but no decent cycle parking, despite being so close to NCN route 3.

Substantial cycle parking at the Lost Gardens of Heligan

Cycle shed at the Land's End youth hostel (not really that close to Land's End).

There are lots of single stands dotted around this area in front of the tourist office where cycling is banned.

One cycle stand (there are a lot of these dotted around Bodmin) and NCN3 sign to the right.

Covered parking at Bodmin Parkway station - the 'FGW Staff Parking Only' signs refer to the car parking in front, totally typical of the attitude that just can't take cycling seriously even when it claims to do so.

Wheelbender parking at Chysauster Iron Age Village.

A few pretty bike stands in the centre of Hayle

Cycle stands (one bent) at the cliffside Minack Theatre

I wonder which came first - the cycle stands, or the ticket machine (for cars, I hope, not bikes) that makes them effectively unusable (and the council a laughing-stock)?
